South Korea Plans Investments in American Nuclear Project
South Korea is actively considering investing funds in a nuclear energy project being implemented in the United States. This was stated by Minister of Trade, Industry, and Energy Kim Jung-kwan during a parliamentary discussion earlier this week. His remarks were reported by the information source Jin10.
This initiative is part of a large-scale program in which South Korea plans to invest $350 billion in various projects in the U.S. market. This strategy reflects the country’s goal to strengthen cooperation with the U.S. in energy technologies and renewable energy sources.
Currently, the specific terms of the negotiations remain confidential. South Korean officials have not disclosed details of the discussed investment agreements. It is expected that additional information about the negotiations will be provided soon.
