Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs: Vigorously Promote Artificial Intelligence + Agriculture Development, Develop and Strengthen Rural Talent Teams
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs held a meeting on the 16th to convey and study the spirit of the National Two Sessions. The meeting emphasized the need to thoroughly implement the major policies related to agriculture, rural areas, and farmers from the Two Sessions. Focus should be placed on ensuring stable and secure supplies of grain and key agricultural products, effectively managing spring plowing and planting, and promoting large-scale increases in the yield of grain and oil crops. Efforts should be made to upgrade the “vegetable basket” industry, improve the quality of agricultural products, and achieve new improvements in comprehensive agricultural production capacity and efficiency. Attention should be given to high-level agricultural science and technology independence and self-reliance, with key breakthroughs in core technologies in seed industry and other critical areas. The overall effectiveness of the agricultural science and technology innovation system should be continuously enhanced. The development of artificial intelligence + agriculture should be vigorously promoted, rural talent teams should be expanded and strengthened, and new breakthroughs should be achieved in the development of new agricultural productivity.
