The business trip is over.
Let me continue talking about those two days I spent in Huizhou.
This time in Huizhou, I met a lot of friends who are digital nomads living there.
And digital nomads too—I met them by the seaside.
They're very genuine people. They took me to eat at a delicious noodle shop.
We cooked together (because seafood outside is expensive and not that good anyway).
We each made our specialty dishes.
Brother C's stir-fried squid and spicy shrimp were delicious.
Even though he's from Xinjiang, his cooking skills are exceptional.
I also went to an agritourism farm to pick fruit and dig potatoes.
In the evening we had dinner, drank, and talked about a lot of life philosophies.
I discovered many different perspectives.
I told the older brother that I don't think I'll find love in this lifetime.
There's probably no such thing as true love anymore.
Because it feels like things got really hard after graduating from university.
I always felt that campus romance was more pure.
The older brother from Xinjiang, who is already married, told me
that you can no longer find love driven by hormonal instinct.
Instead, you have to make choices based on reality.
That sentence felt like an awakening.
In that moment, I was redeemed by him.
