I discovered the most terrifying thing about AI: it has no emotions.
After trading for so long, I finally understand a truth: your biggest opponent is not the market, it's yourself.
And the scariest thing about AI is—— it simply has no emotions.
Let me give you a real example: After a streak of profits, I was already getting cocky and prepared to double my position and go hard. But AI gave me a notification: "Risk accumulation detected, recommend reducing position size."
At that moment I thought: Making money hand over fist and still reduce? But you can guess what happened—— the market reversed.
If I had gone all-in that time, I probably would've been wiped out completely.
Later I started observing AI's logic: ✔ It doesn't become aggressive after consecutive wins ✔ It doesn't revenge trade after consecutive losses ✔ It always acts based on probability
What about me? ✔ Want to add to position when winning ✔ Want to recover losses when losing ✔ Emotional swings are bigger than the K-line moves
So I started to "imitate AI": 👉 Set rules, rather than rely on feelings 👉 Fixed take-profit and stop-loss 👉 Don't change strategy because of one trade
The result was interesting: Returns didn't skyrocket, but stability clearly improved.
One sentence summary: AI is not a god, it's just more "mechanical" than you are. And trading, ironically, requires a bit of "ruthlessness."
