Weekend market liquidity is generally weak overall, and news uncertainty is high. Price action tends to experience sharp rallies and selloffs, needle moves, and extreme volatility. Every weekend that passes, I receive numerous messages from people facing liquidations and needing to unwind losing positions, which is heartbreaking to see...
So this is what I always say: if you can avoid trading on weekends, don't trade. If you really must trade, you must reduce leverage, use small position sizes for test trades, and strictly implement risk management.
