Caixin “Since the beginning of this year, China’s economy has shown a favorable momentum and will seek steady progress, maintaining positive development and injecting more stability and certainty into a turbulent world.”

At the China Development High-Level Forum 2026 Annual Meeting held on March 22, Han Wenxiu, Deputy Director of the Office of the Central Financial and Economic Affairs Commission and Director of the Office of the Central Rural Work Leading Group, focused on analyzing China’s recently released 14th Five-Year Plan.

He pointed out that the “14th Five-Year Plan” fully implements the new development concept, ensures that by 2035, significant progress will be made toward the basic realization of socialist modernization, and development remains the top priority.
