After receiving the report, the police quickly intervened, arresting five suspects—men and women involved—and successfully recovered the stolen 73 kilograms of gold bars. The incident happened around 2:45 p.m. on the 20th, when a man, posing as a buyer, was conducting a gold transaction with staff at a jewelry store inside an office building on Chung An Street, Hung Hom. Suddenly, two men and one woman burst into the office, claiming that the company’s responsible person owed a huge debt.
