Cuba Experiences Another Nationwide Blackout

On March 21 local time, the Cuban Electricity Union announced that at 6:38 PM, the national power grid was completely shut down. The Cuban Ministry of Energy and Mines also issued a statement, saying that power restoration efforts have begun, but did not specify the cause of the outage. This major blackout occurred less than a week after the nationwide blackout on March 16. (CCTV News)
