According to industry sources, China Telecom Group has issued a document to Guangdong Telecom requiring comprehensive rectification of cross-border dedicated line services, with a focus on overhauling access lines that have been illegally used for cross-border networking (circumvention).

Currently, Guangzhou has taken the lead in launching rectification actions, and other cities throughout Guangdong Province are expected to follow suit. As a result, over the next few days, a large number of IEPL dedicated lines using Guangdong Telecom as the entry point may experience service disruptions or connection failures.
