Iran's strikes on Qatar have disabled 17% of the country's liquefied natural gas (LNG) export capacity. This threatens fuel exports to Europe and Asia for the next five years, QatarEnergy CEO and Minister of State for Energy Saad bin Sharida Al Kaabi told Reuters.

He noted that repairs will take approximately three to five years, resulting in the loss of 12.8 million tonnes of LNG production annually. The damage to QatarEnergy is estimated at $20 billion per year.
