Playing leverage by only looking at multiples is a losing game. What really matters is how much actual market exposure you can get.



Nominal 3x leverage seems to amplify returns, but it actually hides massive hidden costs: perpetual futures freeze maintenance margins, leaving capital idle with no yield; revolving loans are constrained by LTV limits + compounded slippage, never reaching true 3x; options require high upfront premiums
