Deep Tide TechFlow News: On March 20, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) officially announced the signing of its first cooperation Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Major League Baseball (MLB), establishing an information exchange and collaboration mechanism between the two parties in the field of prediction markets related to professional baseball. The agreement aims to strengthen the protection of the integrity of professional baseball events and to collaborate on potential risks within prediction markets, including the prevention of fraud, market manipulation, and other misconduct. According to the MOU, both parties will share information within a legal framework to respond more quickly to relevant incidents and to identify emerging trends in advance. CFTC Chairman Michael S. Selig stated that this move will help improve the integrity and resilience of prediction markets and provide regulators with more tools to protect market participants.
