ARK Invest has conducted extensive analysis on the current stage of quantum computing development. Wood stresses that despite significant progress, the technology is still in early stages of maturity. ARK researchers estimate that it will likely take between 14 to 34 years before real commercial applications of large-scale quantum computing emerge, placing this realization between the mid-2040s and mid-2060s.
