Do you really understand Chinese metaphysics?

The phrase "境由心转" (circumstances change according to the mind) in metaphysics actually corresponds to Self-fulfilling Prophecy in psychology;

The so-called "心想事成" (wishing things into reality) is rooted in the Expectation Effect and Confirmation Bias.

What you consider "命中注定" (destined fate), in sociology is closer to Path Dependence and the Matthew Effect;

And "风水影响运势" (feng shui affecting fortune) is referred to in modern research as Environmental Psychology and Cognitive Load.

"善有善报、恶有恶报" (good begets good, evil begets evil) is not mysterious causality, but rather the Norm of Reciprocity and the Reputation System operating within society;

A "strong 气场" (energy field or aura) is often just the result of Nonverbal Communication and the Halo Effect;

The so-called "开悟" (enlightenment) and "放下执念" (letting go of attachments) in psychology are called Metacognition and Cognitive Reappraisal.

Regarding "贵人相助" (help from a benefactor), sociology has long explained how opportunities flow between people through Social Network Theory and the Strength of Weak Ties;

And "积德行善" (accumulating virtue through good deeds) corresponds to the long-term mechanisms of Social Capital and Indirect Reciprocity.

In other words, metaphysics is not an alternative set of universal rules; it is more like ancient people recording human nature and social laws through symbols and metaphors. Modern psychology and sociology simply re-express these same principles through experiments and terminology.
