China-made extracorporeal membrane oxygenation products approved for US market launch
People’s Financial News, March 17 — China’s independently developed disposable membrane oxygenator received FDA approval in the United States on the 16th. Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) system is an external life support device that temporarily replaces a patient’s heart and lung functions, aiming to buy precious time for the treatment of critical patients’ primary illnesses and organ function recovery.
