Yesterday's BuildersHub event left me with the feeling that the projects involved were quite dispersed—there wasn't that sense where everyone was competing in the same track, which was actually pretty comfortable.
The trivia game was relatively light, leaning more toward entertainment, but precisely because they didn't complicate things with complex token mechanics, it came across as smoother. Their future roadmap is to hold off on monetization, with cards obtainable only through gameplay and not purchasable. I really like that—no pay-to-win!
The prediction market is pretty typical—it's a project you can understand at a glance. Being able to create your own markets and pull people in to participate, this social gameplay approach is solid. The key is how they'll solidify the rules and data layer going forward; otherwise it's easy to become just a passing trend. At least it's not vaporware right now—it's already running, which is decent.
I was looking at the weather insurance with some anticipation, but after seeing it, it feels more like the idea is sound but it's still too early. This kind of real-world scenario thing sounds simple in theory but is genuinely complicated to execute.
Overall, my feeling is: this batch of builders isn't telling grand narratives—they're building things brick by brick. Nothing particularly flashy, but it's not empty either.
@RialoHQ now seems more like it's setting up an environment where people can experiment, allowing developers globally to leverage Rialo's technical architecture and ecosystem resources to unleash their creative ideas. As for whether they can ultimately produce products with real users, that'll take more time to see. I'm also looking forward to more creators and developers participating in the @RialoHQ ecosystem!
