Azerbaijan Provides Humanitarian Aid to Iran

Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Emergency Situations stated in a release that the country delivered approximately 25 tons of humanitarian aid to Iran on Tuesday. These supplies were provided under an agreement reached during a phone call on March 8 between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. The statement said the aid included 10 tons of flour, 6 tons of rice, 2.4 tons of sugar, over 4 tons of water, about 600 kilograms of tea, and approximately 2 tons of medicines and medical supplies.
