The foundation said this move aims to align resource allocation more closely with the protocol's long-term business, technology, and ecosystem development priorities, and will continue to advance Algorand network and ecosystem construction. Since 2026, multiple institutions including PIP Labs, Gemini, and Polygon have also announced layoffs in succession.
