Xi-Trump Meeting | White House: China Agrees to Postpone Trump's Visit to China

The White House announced that China has agreed to postpone President Trump’s visit to China.

Earlier, President Trump stated that due to his need to stay in the country to handle the Iran situation, his visit to China will be delayed and is expected to take place in about 5 to 6 weeks.

Today, the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a routine press conference and indicated that the visit might occur in the next five or six weeks; top-level diplomacy plays an irreplaceable leading role in China-U.S. relations. Both sides will continue to communicate regarding Trump’s visit to China.
