Brand new all-in-one podcast platform Rebel Audio has raised $3.8 million in an oversubscribed seed round and will officially launch on May 30. The platform is designed for podcast beginners and integrates recording, editing, AI-assisted production, and monetization tools including advertising and subscriptions. It comes equipped with an AI assistant capable of handling various tasks from generating show names to creating cover art, while also featuring voice cloning and translation capabilities. The company was founded by Jared Gutstadt of Audio Up and has implemented safety measures for its AI features, such as requiring authorization confirmation for voice cloning. Pricing starts at $15 per month.
