Here’s what the leak claims about these new AMD CPUs.

  • The Ryzen 7 9750X will be an 8-core, 16-thread CPU with a 4.2GHz base clock and a 5.6GHz boost clock. It will also have 32 MB of L3 cache.

  • The Ryzen 5 9650X will be a 6-core, 12-thread configuration with a 4.3GHz base clock and a 5.5GHz boost clock. It will also feature 32 MB of L3 cache.

The latest leak suggests that these are simply refreshes of AMD’s Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 5 9600X. The biggest difference between those and the new CPUs in the leaks is TDP. AMD has reportedly boosted the TDP for these CPUs to 120 W to get more power out of them.
