Deep Tide TechFlow News: On March 18, according to official sources, the blockchain project Tempo mainnet, jointly developed by payment giant Stripe and crypto venture capital firm Paradigm, officially launched today. Developers can build on it via public RPC endpoints.

Along with the mainnet launch, the Machine Payment Protocol (MPP) was also released. This is an open standard drafted jointly by Stripe and Tempo, designed to provide a unified coordination mechanism for programmatic payments between agents, supporting various payment methods such as stablecoins and bank cards, and compatible with different payment rails. Visa has extended MPP to its card payment scenarios on its network, while Lightspark has extended it to Bitcoin Lightning Network payments.

Additionally, Tempo stated that it is collaborating with partners including Anthropic, DoorDash, Mastercard, Nubank, OpenAI, Ramp, Revolut, Shopify, Standard Chartered, and Visa to advance the deployment of the mainnet applications.
