Oman’s Salalah Port Attacked by Drone Strike

A reporter from the Central Television News has learned that on the afternoon of the 3rd local time, Oman shot down two drones over the southern province of Dhofar. Another drone crashed near the port of Salalah, causing no casualties or property damage. It is reported that Oman does not have any publicly established permanent U.S. military bases, but according to the defense cooperation agreement signed between the two sides, the U.S. military can use some ports and military facilities when necessary. Among them, Duqm Port and Salalah Port are mainly used for logistical support and docking of U.S. naval vessels. (CCTV News)
