There is a version of the robotics story that everyone tells. Machines are getting smarter. Humanoid robots are entering factories. Autonomous systems are handling deliveries. AI is closing the gap between what machines can do and what humans do. That story is true and it gets told constantly. What does not get told is the part that comes immediately after — what happens when those machines need to participate in the economic activity they are generating.
