Recently, the Nanchang Municipal Committee and Municipal Government held the 2026 Nanchang City Deepening and Promoting “8810” Action Plan and Science and Technology Innovation Development Conference, recognizing outstanding enterprises in key manufacturing industry chains, technological innovation units, and chain-leading investment enterprises for 2025. Among them, Fangda Special Steel was awarded as a leading enterprise in the key manufacturing industry chain for 2025.

Since restructuring and joining Liaoning Fangda Group in 2009, Fangda Special Steel has fully implemented the new development concept, promoted industrial structure optimization and adjustment, deeply integrated informatization and industrialization, continuously cultivated new momentum for green development, and adhered to the strategic direction of transforming from general to excellent, and from excellent to specialized. The company strives to produce high-quality products to become a chain-leading enterprise in Nanchang’s new materials industry chain. In recent years, the company has responded to the development trend of the automotive industry, seized the rapid growth opportunity of China’s new energy vehicle industry, proactively planned and implemented new product R&D, and continuously expanded the research and development of spring flat steel. It has focused on lightweight automotive leaf springs and air suspensions, vigorously developing high-performance spring flat steel for high-stress, low-piece springs, as well as thick-section spring flat steel for air suspension guide arms. Additionally, the company has successfully developed non-spring flat steels such as cultivator blades, engineering machinery flat steel, chain flat steel, and forklift flat steel, further enriching its product matrix.
