On March 13, JD officially launched its new AI smart home renovation brand, JD Home Renovation. On the same day, JD Home Renovation unveiled a pioneering high-integration intelligent product developed independently based on the JoyAI large model, and introduced an industrialized delivery platform. With smarter, more user-friendly smart products and more transparent, efficient smart services, JD is reshaping the home renovation experience for users.
JD Group SEC Vice Chairman and CEO Xu Ran stated that the home renovation industry involves many categories, with dispersed suppliers, leading to pain points such as fragmented communication, opaque pricing, and lack of after-sales support. JD aims to solve these issues through standardization, transparency, and intelligence. In terms of products, JD will use standardized processes, transparent pricing, and intelligent capabilities to help consumers bypass complex coordination and verification, pushing the industry from the “assembly machine era” into the “brand machine era.” Regarding pricing, JD’s self-operated home renovation, supported by a global brand-connected super supply chain, is committed to finding the most cost-effective home renovation, furniture, and appliance products, becoming a platform where users can confidently and worry-free choose. For services, JD’s industrialized delivery platform ensures construction quality and service experience through standardized processes, eliminating after-sales gaps and providing trustworthy, one-stop home renovation solutions.
