$PI Today's post (March 14) should have been titled "Happy Pi Day," but Elon Musk didn't post it that way.
Elon was born on Tau day (June 28), which is Tau day (2π). Elon said "Happy Pi Day" would draw too much attention to Pi, so instead saying born on TAU day.
Tau Day, also known as Two Pi Day, is celebrated on June 28 (6/28 in month/date format). The number 𝜏, represented by the Greek letter tau, is the ratio of a circle's circumference to its radius; this number equals 2π, the greatest common multiple in mathematical formulas, and is approximately equal to 6.28.
Every year on June 28.
In 2026: Sunday, June 28 the next one after today, March 14, 2026. 🍕🎉🎊
