Coinvice reported that the Ethereum Foundation (EF) Board released the "EF Mandate" document, which serves as a charter, manifesto, and guideline intended to reaffirm Ethereum's vision and the EF's role in the ecosystem. The EF stated that it will prioritize Ethereum's censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security (CROPS), serve user self-sovereignty, and maintain extractability resistance and seamless user experience (UX). Additionally, the EF will focus on handling critical tasks that lack other natural attribution and that other ecosystem participants cannot or will not reliably undertake. The EF emphasized that it was once Ethereum's first "steward" and is now one of many "stewards." The document has been published on the Ethereum chain.
