China Economic Net Beijing, September 25 — Today, the Shanghai Futures Exchange’s daytime gold futures contracts fluctuated at high levels with active trading and decreasing open interest. The main domestic gold futures contract 2312 opened at 470.88 yuan. By the close, it was at 471.48 yuan, up 0.29% or 1.36 yuan; the settlement price was 470.76 yuan; trading volume was 75,993 lots; open interest was 204,002 lots, a decrease of 282 lots from the previous day.

As of the close on September 22, the most active December gold futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $6 to close at $1,945.6 per ounce, a 0.31% increase.
