Many people tend to be idealistic when discussing global asset allocation, talking about investing in US stocks, Hong Kong stocks, and cryptocurrencies all at once. But when it comes to actual implementation, most people get stuck in the same place: how to get the money there. The traditional process is basically the same. First exchange currency, then open accounts, then transfer funds. Not to mention a bunch of procedures in between, and often encountering time differences. By the time the money actually arrives, the market may have already moved through a significant part of its cycle.
