Iranian media: The U.S. has reviewed Iran's negotiation plan and will respond
Iran’s Islamic Republic News Agency reported on the 6th that Iran’s Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian met with Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr to conduct the second phase of indirect negotiations between Iran and the United States on nuclear issues, and to hear the U.S. response to Iran’s negotiation proposals. The report said that during the first phase of talks held in Muscat, Oman, on the morning of the 6th, Iran submitted an initial plan to Oman regarding controlling the current situation and advancing the negotiation process. Oman forwarded this plan to U.S. Special Envoy Wittekov. It is understood that the U.S. delegation has completed its review of the plan. In the second phase of negotiations, the U.S. response will be conveyed to Iran. According to Mehr News Agency, after the second round of talks, Wittekov will again consult with Badr. (Xinhua)
