The escalating U.S.-Iran tensions are creating a massive ripple effect across global markets. Here is my take as a frontline observer:
1️⃣ Market Movers:
Keep a close eye on the Strait of Hormuz situation. Any official closure or military intervention would send Brent Crude skyrocketing. Also, watch for U.S. Fed statements—if oil prices drive inflation higher, interest rate cuts might be delayed.
2️⃣ Asset Reactions:
Energy: Oil is facing a supply shock; $100/barrel is no longer a distant possibility.
Safe Havens: Gold remains the king of uncertainty, but Bitcoin (BTC) is increasingly acting as "Digital Gold" during this geopolitical crisis.
Shipping: Rates are surging due to rerouting and insurance costs.
3️⃣ My Strategy:
Long (Buy): I’m looking at Oil (WTI/Brent) and Defense stocks. I also expect Gold to hold its bullish trend.
