(MENAFN- IANS) Mumbai, Feb 28 (IANS) Shivaleeka Oberoi has described her pregnancy as a “co-production” with Abhishek Pathak. The actress revealed that while her filmmaker husband is busy with the third installment of “Drishyam” starring Ajay Devgn, she is focused on preparing for motherhood.

Shivaleeka shared a series of photos from her recent maternity shoot on Instagram Saturday, along with her husband Abhishek. Calling it a joint venture, she joked that “deals were made” between them.

“Call it a co-production. He’s busy making thrillers. I’m busy making a human. Deals were made,” she captioned.

While Abhishek is filming “Drishyam 3” during her pregnancy, Shivaleeka made sure to document the journey with as many maternity photos as she wanted.

“He shoots #Drishyam3 during the pregnancy, we take as many #Maternity photos as I want. Both productions are running successfully!” she said.

Shivaleeka and Abhishek first met while working on the 2020 film “Khuda Hafiz,” starring Vidyut Jammwal, which follows the story of Sameer, a young man living a content life with his wife Nargis. However, when she is kidnapped by human traffickers, he must rescue her.

The couple exchanged rings in July 2022 and married in February 2023.

Shivaleeka made her acting debut with the 2019 film “Yeh Saali Aashiqui” and gained fame with “Khuda Hafiz” in 2020. Her last appearance was in “Khuda Hafiz: Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha” in 2022, where she and Vidyut reprised their roles as Nargis and Sameer.

Meanwhile, Abhishek directed “Drishyam 2,” featuring Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Tabu, and Akshaye Khanna, and also directed “Udta Chaman.” He has produced movies like “Pyaar Ka Punchnama,” “Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2,” “Section 375,” and “Khuda Hafiz.”

Regarding “Drishyam 3,” the filmmakers began shooting in Goa in December. Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has also joined the franchise.

“Drishyam” tells the gripping story of a family caught in the shadow of a shocking disappearance. A policewoman’s son goes missing, and she threatens to destroy Vijay’s family. Determined to protect his loved ones, Vijay spares no effort to keep them safe.

Seven years later, in the sequel, the Salgaonkars try to move on from their traumatic past. But just when life seems to have settled, unexpected circumstances threaten to uncover long-buried dark truths.

The film is a Hindi remake of the Malayalam original of the same name.
