Doha, Qatar: A new Ramadan event, Al Razji Ramadan 2026, will open tomorrow, February 25, 2026, at Darb Al Saai in Umm Salal, offering visitors a programme centred on Qatari heritage, arts and cultural activities, including Garangao celebrations.

Running until March 3, the event will welcome visitors daily from 8pm to 1am, creating a Ramadan evening atmosphere as sections of Darb Al Saai are transformed into heritage-inspired spaces featuring live performances, art workshops and cultural displays reflecting traditional Qatari life.

Organised by the Ministry of Culture, the event invites the public to take part in a series of activities designed to celebrate local heritage during the holy month of Ramadan.

The venue combines traditional elements with contemporary artistic presentation, highlighting the connection between past and present.

The Al Razji 2026 programme includes several specialised exhibitions that showcase different aspects of Qatari culture.

These include the Collectibles Exhibition, displaying rare heritage items; the“Abq” Perfume Exhibition, inspired by traditional fragrances; the Animation Exhibition, presenting folk stories through modern visual storytelling; and the“Mazlaj” Photography Exhibition, focusing on the aesthetics of Qatari architecture and natural surroundings.

A range of workshops is also available for visitors aged 15 and above, including gypsum carving, traditional palm-leaf hand fan (mahfa) making, naqda embroidery, pottery and wood painting. The workshops aim to preserve traditional crafts through interactive learning experiences.

For younger visitors, the event features a dedicated interactive area for children aged 5 to 13, combining entertainment and educational activities that encourage creativity while introducing elements of Qatari heritage and cultural identity.
