People often see things in reverse.

For example, the saying: "See yourself, see all beings, see heaven and earth." It seems to have a sequence. But in the objective world, usually first see heaven and earth, observe the various rules of the world. Then see all beings, observe the different kinds of people in the world. Finally, see yourself, and realize that the external world is just a projection of oneself. Only when you see more objective things can you ultimately see yourself.
There's also the saying: "Seeing mountains as mountains, seeing mountains not as mountains, and finally seeing mountains as mountains again." In my view, there are still people involved. It’s a two-step process: initially, when you see a mountain, it’s not really a mountain; then, you come to see that it is a mountain. It’s like, in the objective world, some people might think that a beautiful woman isn’t really beautiful—just good plastic surgery, good skincare, makeup, and so on—basically, they don’t recognize her. Later, they realize, "She’s really beautiful," and don’t care about the rest. As long as she looks good and feels comfortable, that’s enough.
