Truth Social files with the U.S. SEC to register Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Cronos staking ETFs
Associated with U.S. President Trump, Truth Social is seeking approval from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to launch two cryptocurrency ETFs. The relevant filing includes a Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF, as well as a staking-focused Cronos fund. The asset management firm responsible for launching the Truth Social brand ETFs, Yorkville America Equities, has submitted registration documents to the SEC to apply for the launch of the Truth Social Bitcoin and Ether ETF and the Truth Social Cronos Yield Maximizer ETF. The Cronos ETF will invest in and stake Cronos (CRO) tokens, providing price exposure while earning staking rewards. (CoinDesk)
