Two people died after a South Korean military helicopter crashed.
According to South Korean military sources, a training Army helicopter crashed around 11 a.m. local time on the 9th in the Gapyeong County area of Gyeonggi Province, resulting in the deaths of two people onboard. The South Korean Army stated that the helicopter model was an AH-1S “Cobra.” The cause of the crash is unknown. After the incident, the two individuals on board were rushed to the hospital but did not survive. The South Korean Army has suspended flights of the same helicopter model and established an “Accident Response Headquarters” to investigate the cause of the accident. (Xinhua News Agency)
