On February 3rd, former U.S. President Trump stated at a White House press conference, "I am a strong supporter of cryptocurrencies. I might be the person who speaks out the most for cryptocurrencies because I believe in it. The reason I believe in it is that if we don't develop cryptocurrencies, others will. It's like artificial intelligence; we are far ahead in the AI field."
Earlier reports, Trump responded to the news that "Abu Dhabi royal family invested $500 million in their family-supported crypto project, World Liberty Financial (WLFI)," saying, "I don't know about this. Many people like cryptocurrencies, and this is being handled by my sons. I think they will get investments from different people."
