Trump: Working with House Speaker Johnson to push the funding bill

Trump stated, I am working together with House Speaker Johnson to ensure the funding agreement passed by the Senate last week smoothly passes the House and is delivered to my desk, at which point I will sign it into law immediately! We must get the government back on track, and I hope all Republicans and Democrats will support this bill with me and send it to my desk as soon as possible—no delays allowed. No changes can be made at this time. We will work sincerely together to address the issues raised, but there must be no more prolonged, pointless, and highly destructive shutdowns, as they will severely harm our country—such shutdowns are not beneficial to Republicans or Democrats. I hope everyone will vote in support.
