U.S. stocks open higher, Dow Jones up 0.14%, Meta Platforms up about 10%

ChainCatcher news, according to Golden Ten, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.14%, the S&P 500 rose 0.18%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.13% at the opening of the U.S. stock market. Meta Platforms (META.O) rose about 10% as its fourth-quarter results, first-quarter guidance and full-year capital expenditures all beat market expectations. Microsoft (MSFT.O) fell more than 8% as slowing cloud business growth and record capital expenditures raised market concerns.
