CBOE Officially Approves XRP ETF, Accelerating Institutional Adoption of Cryptocurrency on Major US Exchanges

CBOE, one of the largest options exchanges in the United States, has officially approved the XRP ETF (Exchange-Traded Fund) offered by 21Shares. This development, reported by industry media Cointelegraph in mid-last month, is a significant move indicating the expansion of institutional investment in the cryptocurrency market.

The XRP ETF is a financial product that allows individual investors to invest directly in Ripple through the stock market. Its listing is expected to significantly enhance market liquidity and transparency. CBOE is known as a leading derivatives exchange in the US, and its approval of the ETF adds a high level of credibility for market participants.

With this ETF approval, not only existing investors but also institutional investors who previously hesitated to enter the cryptocurrency market will now have new investment opportunities. As mainstream adoption of digital assets progresses, such phased approvals by regulatory authorities are crucial steps toward market maturity and stabilization.
