#DeFi生态与应用 I just found out that Jupiter has launched a new stablecoin, JupUSD. I'm a bit confused but really eager to understand 😅

Honestly, I used to not understand why there are so many types of stablecoins, but now I’m starting to get it — it turns out JupUSD is backed by "safer" assets like USDt and USDC, which adds an extra layer of security? And it can be used for lending and leverage operations in Jupiter Lend. Does this mean that holding it could give me more ways to play?

What impressed me the most is that it has undergone three independent audits and has completely open-source code, which makes it seem more reliable. The previous pitfall I fell into was blindly trusting un-audited contracts. I’ve learned to be smarter this time 🙌

I want to ask everyone, as a beginner, is starting with stablecoins a safer choice if I want to experience DeFi? This way, I can first get familiar with concepts like lending and liquidity, then move on to higher-risk operations? It feels like the Jupiter ecosystem is gradually improving its infrastructure, which makes me more confident to continue exploring.
