Recently, I heard a viewpoint that classifies MEME, NFT, and the Metaverse as highly speculative assets, implying that most MEME projects may not go far. I must admit that this judgment has some validity—highly speculative tracks are indeed prone to bubbles bursting.

However, upon closer reflection, although MEME is highly volatile and risky, for ordinary retail investors, it might truly be the easiest track to achieve wealth breakthroughs. The BSC ecosystem has generated many creative projects over the past two years, and they still have vitality.

The key is to understand the essence of MEME. It is distinctly different from NFT and the Metaverse—MEME is more a product of community consensus + liquidity, whereas the latter two rely more on content value and long-term application scenarios. This difference determines that their risk structures are completely different.

Rather than blindly worrying, it’s better to clarify your real return expectations and risk tolerance within the BSC ecosystem. High speculation does not necessarily mean failure; the key lies in choice and timing.

I like the concept of community consensus + liquidity much more. It's much more reliable than those guys hyping up the metaverse landing.

Exactly right, MEME is something created by the community, how can it be compared to the NFT scene?

At the end of the day, it still depends on how much you can afford to lose. MEME is a game that bets on community sentiment. Those who are truly willing to go all-in have mostly exited before the big drop. The small profit retail investors make is insignificant compared to early airdrops. Community consensus is too虚 (vague/illusory); it can reverse in the next second. Choosing the right project really relies more on luck than strategy.

Honestly, MEME is about betting on community popularity, and NFT is about betting on content. The difference is huge. --- The projects on BSC are indeed lively, much more reliable than some dying L1s. --- Don't keep shouting that the risk is high and avoid it. How can you make quick money then? The key is to be able to choose wisely. --- I feel the most feared are those projects that look "safe" but actually have no heat and are just waiting to die. --- Community consensus, to put it simply, is a popularity game. Those who can hype it up are all making a fortune. --- Is it impossible for MEME to go far now? This argument has been around for 8 years, and what’s the result? --- I just want to know how to identify lively MEMEs versus those purely for cash grabs. That’s the real challenge.

Community consensus + liquidity, that's right. I'm just worried that most people can't really distinguish these differences and are still blindly chasing high prices.

It's just another person saying MEME is doomed. It happens every time. So what? Community consensus is value.
