Need to say it one more time: traders watching news and financial media around the clock are at a real disadvantage.
When you cut out the noise—no TV, no headlines, zero interest in politics—something shifts. You trade with clarity instead of emotion.
Here's what happens: everyone else is drowning in narratives, expert opinions, market commentaries. You? You're just reading price action.
Price doesn't lie. It reflects everything already. Charts don't care about what's on the news cycle or what analysts are saying today. They just show you what's moving and where money is actually flowing.
The best traders I know operate this way. They ignore the chatter and focus on what matters—the market data itself. Less information noise means better signal-to-noise ratio. That's an edge.

To be honest, I haven't watched the news for a long time. That stuff will only make you mess around blindly.

To be honest, I have now turned off news notifications. I used to check the financial channel every day and ended up losing the most. Charts don't lie, but reporters and experts are lying every day.

That's true, but how many actually do it? Most people are still just watching the candlestick charts while scrolling through news.

That's so true, I'm the kind of person who makes money by turning off the news.

That's right, I've long since stopped chasing news, and my mind is much clearer now.

That's right, I haven't been reading those financial news for a long time. They're really just noise.

price action never lies but most traders can't read it anyway... that's the real filter.
