Public chain track has long been a red ocean, but Dusk Foundation is going against the trend—not wanting to compete with Ethereum and Solana for general platform business, but instead choosing a more vertical direction: building the privacy settlement infrastructure for the global financial system.

This positioning is actually quite clever. Traditional finance has always had a demand for privacy and compliance, but very few public chains can truly handle both of these seemingly contradictory requirements at the same time. Dusk’s approach is to achieve this through technological breakthroughs, dialogue with regulatory authorities, and ecosystem collaborations, positioning itself as a leader in the "compliant privacy" niche.

In the long term, their ambitions are significant—they aim to become the underlying infrastructure for large-scale, regulated value exchanges. In other words, they are targeting the standard-setting authority for the next generation of private financial systems. Compared to directly competing in the general platform space head-on, this approach may carry fewer risks.

Hey, Dusk's approach is indeed clever. Instead of fighting Ethereum head-on, they are positioning themselves in the financial privacy space... Hold on, can they really handle compliance?

Hmm, this approach is indeed quite clear-headed. Instead of competing directly with the big players, focusing on niche markets is the way to sustain longevity.

A differentiated approach is indeed clever, but it depends on whether it can truly be implemented. Avoiding the red ocean and choosing a niche track sounds good, but can privacy + compliance really be perfectly compatible? It still feels a bit idealistic. If you ask me, the key is whether the ecosystem can take off; having only the technical architecture is not enough.

Hey, wait a minute. Can privacy and compliance really be achieved at the same time? I feel like these two are inherently at odds...
