Let me share my personal experience. I do business in Taipei and often need to transfer USDT to suppliers in mainland China for procurement. Previously, using Tron chain or bank channels, the fees were ridiculously high, and every transfer made me worry for a while. After switching to Plasma, everything changed — last week, I transferred $5,000 USDT to a friend in Shenzhen, and it was truly zero fees, with the transfer arriving in just 0.8 seconds. This speed is faster than paying utility bills at a convenience store, which is a bit crazy.

The most interesting part is that Plasma's solution is especially suitable for scenarios like "cross-strait exchanges." Imagine if merchants on Taobao or Pinduoduo in mainland China could directly accept on-chain USDT payments in the future. I could just scan a QR code to pay, saving enough in fees to treat myself to several more big meals.

From a future perspective, I believe Plasma isn't competing with TPS giants like Solana but aims to be "the street-side payment in the stablecoin field" — down-to-earth, frictionless, focused on small daily cross-border transactions. Mobile payments in Taiwan are already very advanced, but cross-border payments are still a big issue. If Plasma can capture this market and push TVL higher, the value of $XPL could multiply several times. The current market cap is only $260 million. Although there is unlocking pressure, the number of actual users is increasing. It feels like the right window to get in now.
