The gameplay in the DeFi sector has been quietly changing over the past two years. Projects that rely solely on DEX or Launchpad are facing increasing survival challenges; ultimately, the core issue is that liquidity is too fragmented — this has become the biggest bottleneck in the entire ecosystem.

However, some projects are attempting to break through. Taking SUN's SunWukong ecosystem as an example, their recent brand upgrade is based on an interesting approach. By using SunPump to facilitate asset issuance in the primary market, they capture the current funding needs of project teams while also solving traders' liquidity issues — this way, a closed loop from issuance to trading can be truly established.

Rather than simply stacking functionalities, it’s more about using ecosystem-level design to address specific problems. Such explorations are sure to impact the competitive landscape of the entire DeFi market.

I've long been annoyed by liquidity fragmentation, constantly seeing projects running around for a few pools every day. SUN's closed-loop approach indeed hits the pain point, but it still depends on how effective it actually is. --- Is ecological design targeted at the right problem? It sounds good, but whether it can truly attract liquidity remains to be seen. --- Connecting the issuance and trading closed loop sounds easy, but the key is whether it can retain users—that's the real test. --- Another plan attempting to integrate fragmented DeFi, I've seen quite a few similar projects last year... --- If SunPump can really solve liquidity issues, many Launchpads should be worried. --- It sounds good, but ultimately it depends on who can make money within the ecosystem; only when both project teams and traders are satisfied is it considered a win.

The problem of liquidity fragmentation is indeed a dead end; relying solely on a single function can't sustain it at all. I think SunPump's closed-loop logic is quite interesting—covering everything from issuance to trading in one seamless process, which is much better than those that operate separately.

Liquidity fragmentation is indeed a stubborn problem, but SunPump's closed-loop approach actually has some merit, much more powerful than simply stacking features.

The point about liquidity fragmentation is spot on. Current DEXs are really just a mess, and project teams are having an extremely hard time surviving. The idea behind SunPump is indeed innovative, connecting financing and trading into a seamless process, which is much smarter than projects that just pile on features. Ecosystem layer design is the future.
