Background resources are indeed a quality lever, but isn't this argument a bit too absolute? I've seen many projects with abundant resources that end up failing in token deflation model design, leading to a complete collapse in player retention. Having strong technical skills combined with well-balanced incentives can sometimes sustain the product lifecycle better than just spending money and networking. The key still depends on ROI efficiency.

nah this is just saying rich guys win again... like, show me a project with solid cryptographic primitives that actually *needed* venture connections to succeed? tbh the whole "resources determine fate" narrative feels lazy. what about the fundamentals tho—trust assumptions, proof systems, actual security guarantees? those matter more than who you know imo

Basically, it's about having money and connections to get things done. No matter how advanced the technology is, without resources, it's useless.
