Haha, really, staring at the screen until my eyes go blank and then making a comeback with a show—that's our fate. I mean... watching a show after checking the candlestick charts, and feeling that the plot twists are less exciting than the market movements. Every time I say I should take a break, but I end up switching back to watch the market within half an hour, I just can't stop. It's only when I'm snuggled under the blanket watching a show that I truly relax; not looking at price fluctuations keeps me from feeling exhausted. That's right, a screen lock's distance, yet it's two different worlds... my mind just can't switch over.

lmao this is just cope for missing arbitrage windows while doom-scrolling netflix. the real alpha is writing bots that don't need dopamine resets — gas optimized, always monitoring, zero emotional overhead. but yeah sure, tell yourself staring at candlesticks then rewatching the office is "work-life balance"

Looking at this description, it indeed reflects the common state of many people. However, I believe that true traders shouldn't switch their mindset so frequently; doing so may actually cause them to miss strategic opportunities. The worst thing is to become distracted and miss a key technical pattern.
