【ChainNews】Ethereum spot ETFs have recently seen fund withdrawals again. According to SoSoValue data, on January 9th, Eastern Time, the overall net outflow from Ethereum spot ETFs was $93.81 million. Among them, BlackRock’s ETHA performed the weakest, with a net outflow of $83.77 million in a single day. However, from a historical perspective, ETHA has accumulated a total net inflow of $12.718 billion, reflecting the product’s long-term ability to attract capital.

Another product, Grayscale’s ETHE, also did not escape the trend, with a net outflow of $10.0368 million yesterday. This has become a recurring issue—ETHE’s total net outflow has reached $5.141 billion, forming a stark contrast with BlackRock.

From a broader perspective, the overall scale of Ethereum spot ETFs remains substantial. As of the time of writing, the total net asset value is $18.699 billion, accounting for 5.04% of Ethereum’s total market capitalization. The entire ecosystem’s cumulative net inflow has reached $12.434 billion, indicating that although institutional investors are short-term entering and exiting, their long-term recognition of this sector remains intact.

The net outflow data during Grayscale's bloodbath already speaks for itself from a token economics perspective—mechanism design flaws are unavoidable in complex market environments. ETHA's long-term capital attraction ability indeed reflects the market's recognition of BlackRock's credit endorsement, but a daily outflow of over 90 million still warrants caution. What might this imply behind the scenes? The total scale of spot ETFs at $18.7 billion looks impressive, but does the slowing growth trend indicate that the institutional allocation cycle is entering a correction period? Data speaks for itself. The $5.1 billion net outflow that caused Grayscale to lose money has already proven the fragility of that governance logic with facts. Unfortunately, no one listened when the proposal was made. Is this short-term noise or a trend reversal? We need to continue observing subsequent capital flow performance; the sample size is still insufficient to draw conclusions.

They're running away again... ETHA's slap in the face this time is a bit painful. Grayscale's stubbornness hasn't changed; net outflows have reached 5.1 billion and they're still bleeding. But the scale is still at 18.6 billion, so it's not a big problem. Just over 90 million a day and you're panicking? ETH is just getting started. BlackRock leads and then pulls back again—what are they doing?

lol ETHE really can't catch a break... -5.1B cumulative outflows is kinda sending a message tbh. blackrock doing the heavy lifting while grayScale just hemorrhaging capital, textbook inefficiency vector right there. still 187B AUM isn't nothing but ngl the divergence between ETHA inflows and ETHE outflows screams structural arbitrage opportunity if u know where to look.

Here we go again, ETHA is smashing over 80 million in a day, even BlackRock can't hold up Grayscale is even worse, net outflows have become the norm, a big hole of 5.1 billion That said, 18.699 billion can still be sustained, the foundation is still solid Is this really a bottom-fishing move or a run for the exits... ETF data looks really bad, it feels like a change is coming
